//How to make blinkies\\
I'm using animation shop 3 to make these blinkies. You can get a free 30 day trial here.
Drag the doll(s) down into the blank space provided for making the blinkies. Align the blinky blocks to form the words you want and add the letters to them. See the example below.
Once you have the blinky made click on the PrtScrn button on your keyboard. Open paint (start, programs, accessories, paint). Use Ctrl v on your keyboard to paste the picture. Save your picture as something like doll.bitmap.
Open animation shop 3,
click on file,
then on animation wizard.
On the first pop-up click same size as first image frame, then click next.
Click transparent, then next.
Click centered in the frame, then next.
Make sure repeat animation indefinitely is clicked and on how long each frame should be displayed set it to 20, then click next.
Click on add image.
Scroll through your pictures till you find your doll.bitmap and double click on it.
Click next, then finish.
Now you need to crop the doll out of the rest of the picture.
Click on the crop tool at the top and crop your image, click the crop button to finish cropping it.
Now you should have a small picture of your doll with a white background.
To delete the background, click on animation then in the drop down menu click on replace color.
Click on the white background in your doll picture.
Make sure on the pop-up the "old color" and "transparent opacity" is clicked, then click OK.
You should now be seeing your picture with a clear background.
Now I'm working with the baby picture at the top that I used as an example. There are 4 letters that need to blink so I will duplicate my frame 4 times.
You might need to go up and click the picture of the arrow at the top, just below the zoom.
Right click on your picture and select duplicate selected. Do this over and over again until you have the desired amount of frames. If you blinky is 10 letters long then duplicate it till you have 10 frames.
If it adds too many frames just right click on the last frame(s) and choose cut.
Now beside zoom you should see 1:1 click that and select 5:1
Click on the picture of the dropper and over to the right select the color you want to use for the blinking effect.
Now select the paint bucket.
In the first frame click the first letter and it will color fill it. Now move on to the second frame and color fill just the second color and so on till you are finished with all the letters.
Now up at the top click on view then on animation and you should now have a blinky.
Now click on file and click save as, name you blinky.
Click next 3 times then finish.
That's it, have fun.
